Series X, Series S, One, One S, One X, 360, and the original. We take all of them.
No picture is the HDMI port nine times out of ten. On the Series X and Series S the port sits right at the edge of the board, so it takes the whole hit when a cable gets yanked or the console gets knocked off a shelf. We replace the port, not the board.
Hot air, loud fans, and shutdowns are dust and dried paste. The Series X pulls air straight up through the middle and packs the heatsink solid over a couple of years. We open it up, clean it out, and repaste it. Then it runs for an hour on a game you pick while we watch the temps, so you can see it holds before you take it home.
Disc drives that grind, refuse a disc, or take one and never read it are common on the One and One S. A stuck disc on its own is usually a quick job.
The 360 and the original Xbox are still welcome. Capacitors, drive boards, and the red ring era are all things we still work on, and that’s custom enough that we quote it in person.
Won’t power on, or powers on and dies a second later, is board level. Power delivery, liquid, or a blown fuse. We find out which before quoting you.

Prices are estimates and may change after inspection. You’ll always know the final price before we start.
We’ll confirm the exact price in person before anything starts.
Bring it in. We’ll tell you exactly what’s wrong and what it’ll cost. No charge for that.
You approve the price before we touch anything. No surprises, no hidden fees.
If we can’t fix it, you pay nothing. We don’t think you should pay for failure.
The Series X costs more than the Series S because the port sits deeper in a denser board. The difference is bench time, not the part.
Bring the controller too if you think the controller might be part of what’s wrong. It saves a second trip.
Out of warranty, already opened, or already quoted somewhere else is all fine. That describes most of what comes through the door.
We’re appointment only. Call or text (775) 453-4317 and we’ll set a time that works. Yes, the number is text-able.
Bring the console in, we look at it and tell you what’s wrong and what it costs, and you get that price before anything happens.
Normal turnaround is 1 to 3 days, not counting weekends. If you need it back the same day, ask for it up front and there’s a $20 premium on top.
