Cracked screens are most of what walks in the door. The OLED, the Lite, and the original all use different panels, and the OLED is the one people end up waiting weeks on somewhere else. We do all three.
Joy-Con drift is the stick module wearing out. It is not a software problem and recalibrating only buys you a few weeks before it comes back. We replace the module so it actually stops.
Charging ports get loose or stop taking a cable at all, usually from being pulled out of the dock at an angle over and over. That’s a board-level port replacement, not a part you can swap in by hand.
Fans and thermals matter more on the Switch than people expect, especially if it lives in the dock. A console that gets loud and warm and starts dropping frames is usually just packed with dust. After a clean and repaste we run it for an hour on a game you pick and watch the temps before handing it back.
Black screen with sound, won’t charge, or won’t power on at all is board level. Often it’s the charging IC or liquid that got in through the vents. We diagnose it before we quote you.

Prices are estimates and may change after inspection. You’ll always know the final price before we start.
We’ll confirm the exact price in person before anything starts.
Bring it in. We’ll tell you exactly what’s wrong and what it’ll cost. No charge for that.
You approve the price before we touch anything. No surprises, no hidden fees.
If we can’t fix it, you pay nothing. We don’t think you should pay for failure.
On the OLED the touch layer is bonded to the panel, so a screen replacement covers the touch as well. On the original Switch the digitizer is a separate part, so tell us if the touch stopped working too.
Recalibrating doesn’t cure drift. The module is physically worn and the fix is a new module.
If it’s only the Joy-Cons, just bring the Joy-Cons. You don’t need to hand over the whole console.
We’re appointment only. Call or text (775) 453-4317 and we’ll set a time that works. Yes, the number is text-able.
Bring the console in, we look at it and tell you what’s wrong and what it costs, and you get that price before anything happens.
Normal turnaround is 1 to 3 days, not counting weekends. If you need it back the same day, ask for it up front and there’s a $20 premium on top.
